Natural casings

Natural casings and the natural casing trade have a tradition going back thousands of years. Along with salt, silk and tea, natural casings have played a significant role in the development of trade. They come mainly from sheep, pork and beef. They are particularly suitable for the production of different types of sausages, with others they cannot be replaced by a so-called artificial casing.

Artificial casings

Artificial casings have been specially developed for the production of all types of raw, scalded and smoked scalded sausage, smoked cooked sausage and ham casings, etc. Some are smoke permeable or breathable, others are characterized by high barrier properties. Synthetic casings have high caliber accuracy, good machinability and optimal mechanical strength. Our offered artificial casings have perfect processing properties.
